The Goose Is In

Finally, Goose Gossage is in the Baseball Hall of Fame. It took 9 years and it goes to show the hypocrisy of the baseball writers. Many are now saying that they don't know why it took so long to induct him, when it was them and their 'brothers in arms' who did the injustice. What changed? Is he better this year than he was last year? I highly doubt that. Why do these writers make Hall of Fame-worthy ballplayers wait? Why can't they even agree on who belongs or who doesn't? I think it's telling when certain bona fide players get elected without acquiring 100% of the vote.
